How we bake – Polarmetoden™

We want to make the world a little better. That is, bake really good bread without harming the climate. That’s why we build four wind turbines that now produce at least as much renewable electricity as we use in our bakeries.

Polarbröd – Always Tasty and Always Fresh

Great taste and the tradition of hearth-baked flatbread are the building blocks of Polarbröd’s success. Polarmetoden™ means that the bread is frozen directly after baking, according to Northern Swedish traditions.

The bread is then thawed on the way to the customer. Baking without preservatives and other unnecessary additives is a linchpin for Polarbröd. The aim is to use ingredients that are as natural as possible, but never at the expense of flavour or quality.

All the bread from Polarbröd is milk-free and the most common allergens (sesame seeds, nuts, etc.) are notpermitted in our bakeries. The list of ingredients provides all the information you will need.
